My class and I have been immersed in the fun filled world of Dr. Seuss. They got such enjoyment from my “Green Eggs and Ham” voting card that I was compelled to create another one!
I always find The Cat in the Hat an interesting book to explore with children as it covers the areas of “keeping secrets” and “stranger danger”. The Cat in the Hat ends by asking the following question ” What would you do if your mother asked you?”. Would you tell your mother about what happened? Is that a safe secret to keep? It opens a window into Social and Personal Education that is important to explore regularly.
With this in mind I created the following:
