Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! My class are celebrating Dr. Seuss tomorrow for World Book Day 2012. I am so excited! We are all coming to school dressed as our favourite characters. Here is a peak at my costume:

My class were looking for some buns. Here was the best that I could do at short notice. Buns had not been on my “to do” list for tomorrow. LOL!

They are a hasty attempt at the Cat in the Hat’s hat…

We will be playing games like “Pin the Green egg on the Ham”. This is always a firm favourite. I also love my roll and cover Dr. Seuss dice game. We are having two “Celebrity Readers” visit us tomorrow to read some Dr. Seuss books. I wonder who they will be?!

I have created this little printable to supplement my maths unit on Dr. Seuss. I think that my class will enjoy it. I wonder what they will vote for?

As you can see, the original clip art has yellow yolks. With my trusty green marker I remedied this in the twinkling of an eye ;). It is perfect, though, as it has ham too!
