My school follows the Starways Reading Scheme by CJ Fallon. I am currently teaching and revising words that correspond to the reader “Look at this”. So that I wouldn’t end up completely bewildered by the whole process I have created a  Word Checklist. I staple this sheet into each pupil’s notebook at the beginning of a revision week. It will clearly list the words that need further reinforcement both at home and in school.
